Su Mon Han, Creator of the GADIA series x NuBoom Studios present an original, anime-style animated film project about the story of the 12 Legends of Gadia!
The epic tale of the twelve Legends of Gadia is coming to life for the first time in animation! We're partnering with the Los Angeles-based NuBoom Animation Studios to create a 10-minute, fully animated concept film introducing our planned feature-length animated film adaptation of the Legends of Gadia story/play Gadia Ascentia. Launching on Kickstarter in summer 2027, join us at the start as the huge, new fantasy adventure of the GADIA series unfolds!
Creators’ Pledge: NO use of generative AI in this project!
Every piece of art work in the Legends of Gadia card game was drawn by a human artist, and I, as the series creator, intend to continue using only human-created art and creativity in all GADIA series projects. That’s why I’m partnering with NuBoom Studios, who create all their beautiful 2D animation from pre-production to finishing effects in-house, with their fully staffed animation team.
Same goes for all music (via our incredible composer and prolific musician Emily Friend Cai!), voice acting, screenplay-writing, and every other component of this project. All of us are committed to cutting through the AI slop and bringing you the fullness of the human creative spark through this project and all we do.
Thank you for supporting our artistic vision to bring my beloved and long-developing GADIA series to life in a brand, new medium, and one that (as any of my long-suffering childhood friends will tell you) is incredibly dear to my heart and key to my creative development—animation! Su Mon is the author of the upcoming fantasy novel series GADIA and creator and game designer of the Legends of Gadia fantasy card game. After successfully Kickstarting her game in 2025, she went on to represent Washington state on a trade mission to Japan in May 2026, where Legends of Gadia was exhibited at Tokyo Game Market. Her game is now sold in Japan as well as in various states around the USA. Su Mon is a Burmese-American originally hailing from Southern California but now lives in Seattle.
